BitcoinII Core v29.1.0 uploaded assets
Summary
Section titled “Summary”This page preserves the uploaded release-asset inventory and bounded integrity evidence recorded for BitcoinII Core v29.1.0.
It is historical, version-scoped evidence. The current BitcoinII Core release baseline is v31.1.0, and nothing on this page should be used to imply that current v31 assets inherit v29 hashes, signatures, or provenance.
Canonical historical evidence:
- Release asset inventory attempt
- Release-artifact authentication record — 2026-08-27
- Release artifact checklist
- BitcoinII releases
- Developer release verification guide
For the current release, use v31.1.0 release assets.

Independent integrity record
Section titled “Independent integrity record”All 10 uploaded assets were downloaded on 2026-08-27. Their local byte sizes and SHA-256 values matched the corresponding GitHub API metadata recorded in the dated audit.
The same historical audit also downloaded and hashed both GitHub-generated source archives. Exact hashes, source URLs, asset IDs, and retrieval boundaries are preserved in Release-artifact authentication record — 2026-08-27.
This is stronger integrity evidence than inventory metadata alone, but it is still not publisher-authenticated binary provenance: no publisher checksum manifest or release-asset signature tied to a BitcoinII-trusted release key was established.
Historical source-archive relationship
Section titled “Historical source-archive relationship”The two GitHub-generated source archives were counted separately from the 10 uploaded assets. That explains the historical 12-item release-page observation documented during the audit.
See GitHub-generated source archives.
Status by evidence type
Section titled “Status by evidence type”| Evidence type | Historical status | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Observed | Strong inventory record | Release metadata and 10 uploaded asset names/sizes/content types were recorded from the 2026-08-27 GitHub API snapshot. |
| Locally Tested | Integrity only | MoreBC2 downloaded and hashed all 10 uploaded assets plus two generated source archives. |
| Source Reviewed | Partial | Release source-comparison records exist, but source comparison does not verify binaries. |
| Maintainer Statement | Roadmap context only | Maintainer-supplied context about signing/checksum work is not asset verification. |
| Unknown | Yes | Publisher-authenticated binary provenance, trusted release-key identity, and reproducible-build equivalence were not established. |
What this historical record does not prove
Section titled “What this historical record does not prove”This page does not prove:
- publisher-authenticated expected hashes;
- release-asset signature verification against a trusted BitcoinII release key;
- reproducible builds;
- binary-to-source equivalence;
- current
v31.1.0asset integrity or authenticity; - current exchange/operator readiness by itself.
Version boundary
Section titled “Version boundary”Do not carry these historical values into current-release documentation.
In particular:
v29.1.0asset names and sizes are not v31 asset names and sizes;- v29 local hashes do not verify v31 downloads;
- v29 source-archive fingerprints do not verify v31 source archives;
- any v29 tag/commit signature observation is separate from the current v31 tag/commit state.
Verification
Section titled “Verification”Status: Reviewed / Historical bounded evidence
Primary sources checked: Existing MoreBC2 2026-08-27 inventory and release-artifact authentication records
Notes: This page intentionally preserves the dated v29 audit. It is not a current-release page and should not be generalized to v31.
